Manitoba Mission Trip

In 2009, Trinity committed to at least five consecutive years of people ministry through LAMP (Lutheran Association of Missionaries and Pilots).  LAMP assigned Trinity to the Native American community of Cross Lake, Manitoba.  In the summer of 2009, over twenty youth and adults from Trinity joined with a few other youth and adults from other Montana Lutheran congregations and traveled to Cross Lake to facilitate a Vacation Bible School for the children of the village.  Trinity’s youth will not be the main participants in this Mission Trip every summer, however.  You might be, though!  In 2010, twenty-seven people participated in the trip - and there were also twenty-seven people who went in 2011!  Over the next few years, many other adults and youth will be recruited to go on this Mission Trip to share the love of Jesus with the people of Cross Lake.  Thank you for supporting this wonderful outreach!  Please pray about and consider your availability to participate in this Mission Trip in the summers to come.

The 2012 Manitoba Mission Trip is scheduled

for July 27 through August 5!

This year, Trinity's Fire (the High School Youth Group) will be going to Manitoba along with the usual group of adults and families - so that will make the group of at least 40 people!  The trip is being organized and plans are being made.  It will be an exciting trip!

Please contact DCE Jason Schleicher if you have any questions or are interested in attending one of the future Manitoba Mission Trips!
