Mr. Thomas - Principal and Teacher
"Once a Bobcat, always a Bobcat"
I was born in Ohio and raised in Indiana. I attended Lutheran grades school, high school and college. I earned my Bachelor's of Science from Concordia Teachers College in Seward, NE and my Masters from Indiana University.
I have been teaching since 1982. I have been at Trinity Lutheran School since 1992. I chose to teach at a Lutheran school because I loved my teachers in grade school and wanted to be like them and because the Lord's word is the focus of a Lutheran school.

Mrs. Suzie Thomas - Kindergarten Teacher
"Trinity is our special place, where we are a family. Christ brought us together. It's a place where we can learn about our Lord, then take that love out into the world and let His light shine!!"
I have lived in Montana most of my life. We have four children: Michael, Jonathan, Christina and Kelly and a daughter in law, Megan.
I attended Concordia Teachers College in Seward, NE where I earned my Bachelor's of Science Degree in Education with an Early Childhood Endorsement.
I have been teaching kindergarten at Trinity since 1993. Prior to that I taught 1st grade in Indiana.
I choose to teach at a Lutheran school because I love being in God's Word everyday. I may be a teacher to those kindergartners, but they teach ME everyday about their love for Jesus. It doesn't get any better than that!

Mrs. Kerri Kanning - Resource Room Teacher
"The joy I have in using my God given gifts, talents and abilities in the Resource Room at Trinity Lutheran School is indescribable. It is: the "joy of the Lord is my strength" (Nehemiah 8:10)
I was born in Great Falls, Montana. I lived there until I left for Billing to go to Eastern Montana College, which is now Montana State University - Billings (MSUB). My mom raised me, my brother and sister alone and worked as a stenographer for the Milwaukee Railroad.
I attended Eastern Montana College (now MSUB), from 1977 - 1979. I studied special education and deaf education. I attended MSU - Bozeman from 1979 - 1981 and graduated with my Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education. I Attended MSUB from 2000 - 2001 and earned my endorsement in special education and have 64 credits equatable to a Masters level.
I homeschooled my own four children for ten years and taught in preschools and public schools.
I interviewed with Mr. Thomas during the summer of 2002 twice. The first time I brought in my resume and did the proper interview. I visited different teachers and asked them why they taught at Trinity Lutheran School. They all said that they were free to teach the Bible and impact eternity. I know what that means now. After visiting with several teachers, I biked home and prayed about teaching there. One hour later I biked back and assertively told Mr. Thomas (who was bespeckled with paint from working) that I wanted to work at Trinity Lutheran School and I know God had called me to fill that position. I was hired and have been there since.
