Trinity's Uganda Mission
Since 2022, Trinity has been financially supporting the ministry of St. John Lutheran Church and School in Makota, Uganda.   In 2025 Trinity sent a team to St. John to learn more about the ministry of St. John, and what they witnessed moved them to the core.  Despite their poverty and lack of resources, the people of St. John are filled with joy, contentment and a deep faith in Jesus.  They are carrying out their mission of "Learning for Life, Living for Christ" and reaching many people with the Gospel.  Our financial support of St. John is an eternal investment, as God is using this ministry to bring many people to Christ, including former Muslims.   

Trinity's relationship with St. John has become so much more than just financial support.  It is mutual encouragement, friendship, and partnership in the spread of the Gospel.  Seeing their zeal for the Lord, their love for one another, and their commitment to the Great Commission is inspiring.   In 2026 we asked the Lutheran Church of Uganda and Hearts and Hope for Uganda to join us as ministry partners.   With their help we plan to help St. John acquire additional land, build permanent ministry facilities, start a student sponsorship program, and continue to share Jesus in any way we are able.  

There are many ways that we can be a blessing to our brothers and sisters in Christ at St. John:

• Give a gift to the Uganda Mission Fund help with land acquisition and construction of permanent facilities 
• Beginning in the fall of 2026, change the life of a child by sponsoring a student at their school
• Consider participating in a mission trip to Uganda (next trip likely in June 2027)
