Our Mission: Loved by Christ to Live for Christ
"For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised."
(2 Corinthians 5:14-15)
Our Core Values
Value #1 - We value the inerrancy, authority, and teaching of God’s Word.
(2 Timothy 3:16-17; Proverbs 30:5-6; Romans 3:22-26; 1 John 4:19-21)
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
Value #2 - We value sinners of all ages and life stages who are in need of Christ’s forgiveness.
“For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, so it is with Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body…. If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together. Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.” (1 Corinthians 12:12-31).
Value #3 - We value worshipping together, receiving God’s gifts and responding with thanksgiving and praise.
(Hebrews 10:25; Psalms 95:6, 105:1-2; Matthew 18:20; Luke 4:8; John 4:23-24; 1 John 1:3, 7; 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
“Not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." (Hebrews 10:25)
Value #4 - We value Christ-like relationships where we love one another by spending time with, caring for, and sharing God’s forgiveness with one another.
(John 13:34-35; Ephesians 4:32; 1 Thessalonians 5:12-15)
“[Jesus said,] ‘A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.’” (John 13:34-35)
Value #5 - We value discipling all our members.
“Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.” (Ephesians 4:15-16)
Value #6 - We value discipling students and their families of Trinity Lutheran School.
“Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (2 Peter 3:18)
Value #7 - We value sharing the Gospel to the unchurched so that the Holy Spirit will move them to become disciples of Jesus Christ.
“[Jesus said,] ‘Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’” (Matthew 28:19-20)
