Mr. Thomas Kosche
8th Grade Homeroom Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat-- for he grants sleep to those he loves. Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court. (Psalm 127) |
Undergraduate Degree: Bachelor of Education (6-12 Secondary Education and Math) - Concordia University, Wisconsin
Advanced Degree: Masters in Christian Education
Year started at Trinity: 2008
What do you love most about teaching at Trinity? "Talking about Jesus every day with my class."
What is your favorite day/activity/event of the school year, and why? "The art open house at Sunrise Art Studio and Gallery each May. The students are so talented and creative, and it is fun to honor this with the open house. It's also fun to get all the families together when the work is already complete and there is no pressure for anyone to perform."
A little about Mr. Kosche: He has traveled to every continent except Antarctica, running marathons in 3 of them. Someday he would like to run a marathon on all 7 of them. Mr. Kosche also coaches our 5th and 6th grade boys basketball teams and cross country.
